The Role
We are seeking a sharp radiologist or cardiologist to interpret cardiac CT. You will read coronary CT angiography & chest CT with calcium scoring, across screening & dedicated diagnostic exams. Fully remote, part time or full time, with real ownership over your schedule & volume.
- Interpret coronary CT angiography
- Read chest CT with calcium scoring for screening & dedicated diagnostic exams
- Own your schedule & set the minimum & maximum volume you want
- Read outpatient studies only – no nights or weekends required
- Partner with our ops team to deliver the best patient care & reports
- No patient or referring provider communication required
- Medical director roles may open intermittently, with additional compensation outside of Avara if you want them – entirely optional
- Give feedback to our engineers & refine the radiology systems – optional
Requirements
- Board-certified radiologist (ABR or AOBR) or board-certified cardiologist
- SCCT Level II or Level III
- Licensed in at least one U.S. state – we assist with credentialing in any new states
- Your own malpractice coverage preferred – we assist if you do not already have it
- Excellent communication skills
